Here’s a cool free wordpress plugin that allows you to create redirect URLs (i.e. shortened URLs) quickly and easily from within your WordPress Admin area.

Apart from looking professional, a major benefit of using a shortcut URL is it brands your domain rather than the merchant’s domain.

So instead of using a redirect URL service like tinyURL.com to shorten a long affiliate URL for example:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0307353133?ie=UTF8&tag=bizsuccessonl-20 

… to promote the 4-Hour Work Week book by Tim Ferris, you can simply create a shorter URL like: 

http://www.fabianlim.name/go/4hourworkweek 

,,, to redirect to the same Amazon.com URL.
